To all of our members, sponsors, friends and associates, the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
Last night, Chip Manning, Craig Hall and Andrew Clothier were elected to the CBPBA Board of Directors. So plan to join us for our annual Changing of the Props Party on the 1st Tuesday in January, which will be January 3rd. The COTP’s Party is to congratulate our newest Directors and thank our outgoing Directors for their leadership.
The meeting and party starts a 7:30PM sharp. Click here for location information and directions.
CBPBA Annual Christmas Party Announcement
Hello CBPBA members,
The date for our annual Christmas Party is December 3rd. Dust off those suits guys, because ladies and gentlemen, this is a “dress up” event (comment added for Herb’s benefit). The cost is 95 per person or 190 per couple. This year it will be held at Lowes Annapolis Hotel. We will be celebrating in the private Power House Building located just across from the hotel courtyard.
We have a 20 room block reserved with the special rate of 129 plus tax for our overnight guests. As with last year’s party, this is an event you will not want to miss. Ask any of our 80 or so members who attended last year and they will all say it was a bargain and a blast plus it is always a great time when this many members and our guests get together to socialize. We have an entire evening planned which will include an open bar before, during and after dinner. For the main dinner entree there is Chicken Chesapeake with Crab Fondue, Sliced Prime Rib with Red Wine& Roast Cipollini Demi-Glace and Seared Salmon and Grits with Tomato Salsa and Lemon Sauce accompanied by salad choices, veggies, roasted fingerling potatoes, assorted breads and desserts.
Lowes knows how to serve up some really great food. After dinner plan on shaking a leg on the dance floor and socializing with great people. A recap of this years events is being assembled by Smitty for our viewing pleasure. Look for a paypal link on our web site, or just mail a check payable to CBPBA to our PO box, call, email or PM me to reserve your spot.
Christie and I along with our board of directors look forward to seeing everyone this year at CBPBA’s Annual Christmas Party.
