Come join us for some great food and a free Vessel Safety Check.
When: Sunday, May 3, 2015
Where: Skippers Pier
Cost: $25 per person
This year's Shakedown Cruise will be heading to Skipper's Pier in Deale, MD on Rockhold Creek. Dave and Jessica are planning a great day for us and we are going to christen their new Dock Bar. So make sure you come by boat or by car, just do it!

Our General Membership meeting location has changed.

Libations is just south of Hellas on the opposite side of Veterans Highway. They have good food, drink specials during our meetings and a smaller but private room for our meetings. Please plan on attending our next General Membership meeting, December 2nd to check out our new location, see your boating friends and most importantly to vote for our new board of directors!

For a nominal $75 annual membership fee, our members already know there are a lot of perks and discounts associated with the CBPBA. From funding activities such as the Christmas Party to the Crab Feast, or providing members with a registration code to get a discount on their annual BoatUS renewal, there is a significant value in being a paid member.

NOTICE: Proof of insurance required for CBPBA boating events.
Annually, for all Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association boating events (i.e., official poker runs), Captains are required to have proof of insurance on file with the club.
We need a copy of the Declaration(s) of Coverage Page, showing what is covered and the coverage period. Our insurer has made this a requirement, it's not an option. So it's very important we meet the obligation, otherwise we'll have to turn people away the morning of an event.
No one is interested in the rates your paying or the T's and C's of the policy. Each policy has a 1 or 2 page section which is a Declaration of Coverage, showing what assets are covered by the policy and the... [Read More]
