Event Rules & Regulations
By signing up and paying for this event, you agree to all rules/regulations. You also agree to and are required to sign a liability release form at the event or you will not be able to participate.
1. General
• A Poker Run is not a race.
2. Safety Requirements
• PFDs: U.S. Coast Guard–approved, properly sized, worn at all times.
• No Alcohol: Captains & crew may not consume alcohol during the run.
• Wristbands: Must be worn at all times for access.
• Ignition Safety Tethers: Driver must wear at all times.
• Speed Changes: When slowing or coming off plane, wave arms overhead to alert boats behind.
• Breakdowns: Hold position; passing boats should slow & check in.
• Lane Discipline: Maintain 200 ft. safety zone; change lanes only when safe.
• Fuel: Carry enough for each leg.
• Required Safety Gear: First Aid Kit, VHF radio, cell phone, flares, bottled water, extra clothing, anchor, and lines.
3. Disqualification
• Breaking any rule.
• Dangerous vessel operation.
• Missing Captains’ Meeting.
• Failing safety check.
• Abusive language or actions.
• Alcohol use during run.
• Not wearing PFDs.
4. Legal Compliance
• Must follow U.S. Coast Guard & all applicable laws.
• Safety Committee decisions are final.

About this event- We are raising money for donation to the
Parkinson's Foundation in honor of Art Lilly

PLEASE READ THE BELOW IN ITS ENTIRETY!!

Please join us to cruise the Chesapeake Waterways, and play a hand
of poker in memory of CBPBA club member and racing legend Art Lilly.
This event will take place on August 14th-15th, 2026 . We will visit a few of your favorite waterfront destinations.

4th STOP 4:00PM

Fisherman's Crab Deck (Kent Narrows, MD)
Dinner, playing of poker hands, and end of poker run
