Come check out the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association! We are a group of people who love boating and being on the water. We have a variety of events and activities for everyone - Poker Runs, Destination Cruises, Crab Feasts, Fun Runs, Raft-ups. If you have a boat or know someone who owns a boat or want to own a boat or just like boats, this club is for you!

Destination Cruise - Lowes' Wharf

Every year, we go to Lowes' Wharf for an overnight event. Good food, good music, good friends, good times. Grab a slip or a hotel room and spend the night. Once the sun goes down, there is a firepit with s'mores and breakfast in the morning. Stay for another day or head out on a new adventure!

Watership Meeting

Every year, we have two watership meetings. This event is an opportunity to go by boat, enjoy time at a waterfront restaurant with friends, meet new people and, oh, have a club meeting!

Poker Runs

If you like to go fast, poker runs are for you! It's not really a race and there's no bonus for the boat that gets there first, but man, it's fun! And who doesn't love bragging rights??

March of Dimes Great Bay Swim

Every year CBPBA volunteer sweep boats provide a safety net for swimmers in the March of Dimes Great Bay Swim. Swimmers raise money for March of Dimes by swimming in the world's most popular open water swimming event as they cross the Chesapeake Bay between the bridge spans. Captains and Crew meet up at a meeting and volunteer party the evening before the event.

Blue Angels Raftup

CBPBA has a front row seat for members at the annual Blue Angels event held in Annapolis, with a huge raft up, front and center.

Offshore Race Event

CBPBA volunteers provide a fleet of sweep boats for this weekend long event.
