Why should you join the CBPBA?

We are a “Social Club with a boating problem” based around the Annapolis/Baltimore area. We have members from all the way up into NJ and down into VA and the Carolinas. We participate in several charity events each year and host social events of different types on and off the water all year long. By joining you will help us continue our mission of boater and boating safety advocacy.

You'll learn and see much more of the Chesapeake Bay by joining and participating in some of our events over a shorter period of time than exploring on your own. 

Our annual event schedule includes activities such as Fun Runs, Poker Runs, Destination Cruises, the Frostbite Cruise, the Shakedown Cruise, Great Bay Swim, The Memorial Run, raft ups (some with live music), the annual Christmas Party, Chesapeake Offshore Race Event, Key West Offshore Racing World Championships, Changing of the Props Event and more!  There's also a CBPBA discount available on your Boat US Membership.

We hold a monthly General Membership Meeting on the first Tuesday of each month.  Attendance is not mandatory to be a member, but it provides our members with a great opportunity to meet each other and learn more about what CBPBA is planning for the season.

So if you have the desire to use your boat more, meet great people, and make friendships that will last a lifetime, you should really consider joining up as a paid member. All the cool kids do!
